MAHWAH ADULT PICKLEBALL

The Township of Mahwah Recreation Dept. has started an Adult Pickleball Program.  Beginners are welcome!  Pick-up games are free and will be played year -round, weather permitting. To receive announcements regarding pickleball, send an email including your name, address and phone number to the address below.

LOCATIONS:  Hockey Rink behind the Municipal Pool Complex, 700 Darlington Avenue, and the new tennis/pickleball complex at Continental Soldiers Park.

Bocce Program 

The Mahwah Recreation Committee is proud to sponsor Open Bocce.  The program will be held at Continental Soldiers Field every Sunday at 11:00 AM, starting April 16, 2023.   The program is free and open to all Mahwah residents & Friends.   Come and have fun and meet new friends.  Email mahwahbocce@gmail.com to receive E-mail notifications about this program.

Mahwah Men’s Indoor Basketball – starts September 27th  CANCELLED 9/27

Mahwah Recreation is once again sponsoring a free Men’s Indoor Basketball program.  This recreational league will be divided into two age groups: The more competitive 21-34 group and the 35 and up “let’s get some exercise and have fun” group.  Pick-up games will be played on Wednesday evenings, from September 27, 2023 through June 12, 2024.  Games will be played in the main gym at Ramapo Ridge School from 7:30-10:00 pm.  If school is closed for any reason the game is cancelled.  Mahwah Residents Only.  The program is free, drop-ins are welcome.

Adult Coed Indoor Volleyball – Starts September 27th   7:30 pm – 9:45 pm CANCELLED 9/27
Mahwah Recreation is once again sponsoring a free adult Co-Ed Indoor Volleyball program!  Pick-up games will be played on Wednesday evenings from September 27, 2023 through June 12, 2024, in the back gym at Ramapo Ridge Middle School, from 7:30 - 9:45 p.m.  Please use the back gym entrance.  If school is closed for any reason the game is cancelled.  This recreational program is open to Mahwah residents only.   For more information, see the Township of Mahwah’s website at www.mahwahtwp.org under Recreation Dept.  Download the application under Forms Center and bring to your first session.
