There is no permit required for trimming of trees or shrubs.
All premises and exterior property shall be maintained free from weeds or plant growth in excess of 10 inches. All noxious weeds shall be prohibited. Weeds shall be defined as all grasses, annual plants and vegetation, other than trees or shrubs provided; however, this term shall not include cultivated flowers and gardens.

When referencing the Zoning Map you will notice color coded districts within the Township starting with a letter followed by numbers, example - yellow R40. This Zone is Residential with a minimum lot area of 40,000 Sq. Ft.

All new and replacement of existing fences need a Zoning Application to be submitted. If there is an existing fence needing minor repairs a permit is not needed. All corner lots have two front yards, a front yard is any part of the property that abuts a street. A maximum height of 4 feet is permitted in all front yards, if the desired height exceeds 4 feet then a variance would be needed by submitting a Board of Adjustment Application. A maximum height of 6 feet is permitted in side and rear yards.
